Translation: the Translation selector in the controls shows a scholarly English rendering beneath every mula verse and every paragraph of the bhasya. Each verse is rendered in Sankara's own reading of it - the sense his commentary gives - and his technical vocabulary (atman, adhyasa, upadhi, nama-rupa ...) is kept rather than flattened into ordinary English.
