Report on Children of Migrant Labourers Project
During my days in IIT Kanpur, I was involved in Vivekananda Samiti, a students body, along with Ms Vijaya Ramachandran, Prabal Maiti, Pranab Mohapatra, Amit Neogi, Anirban Gupta, Dipak Ghosh, and a few others in the project of teaching children of migrant labourers in Kanpur. I am glad that the work is still going strong.
I also came in contact of Alok Agarwal (NBA activist), Sandeep Pandey (co-founder of Asha for education) and Arvind Gupta (developer of various toys for education) at that time.
